TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Vhangona Fashion Academy is a subsidiary of Vhangona Base, a registered business with CIPC, South Africa. We offer both short and long courses in fashion design

2. Vhangona Fashion Academy which shall herein be called VFA, has physical locations in Thohoyandou -Shayandima Zone 5A NEW ROAD Township And also Pretoria Soshanguve block VV EXT 4.

3. VFA, unilaterally determines a fee for services offered. Person(s) willing to go into a contract with the Academy are bound to the financial terms demanded by the academy for such agreed services. Students are not allowed to copy VHANGONA WORK and act as theirs or replicates.
4. VFA insists on 50% payment upfront IS ENCOURAGED, for services rendered. MONTHLY INSTALMENTS IS ALLOWED TOO. While also having a “No REFUND Policy”.

5. Vhangona fashion Academy reserves the right to its Intellectual property and prohibits any form of dissemination, piracy or publication.

6. Display of students’ work, designs on the academy’s social platforms are entirely at the discretion of the academy. It is not the student’s entitlement.

7. Vhangona fashion Academy prioritizes peaceful co-existence between Management, Staff & Students both during and after the course of training. Disruptive practices through words or actions would not be condoned.

8. Students must stick to programmes they have registered for; sharp practices are prohibited.

9. Upgrade programmes are strictly for students with at least a basic knowledge in sewing practices, if the academy finds you lacking in these basic skills, it reserves the right to refer you to a Beginner’s Programme while mandating you to bear the extra financial costs that may accrue.

10. Please ensure that the information you have provided in your form is correct. In the case of false or misleading information,.Vhangona fashion Academy reserves the right to take decisive action as it deems fit .

11. students will comply with all the rules and regulations set by Vhangona fashion Academy.

12. Students shall be responsible to pay all damages or loss caused by the students to any property of Vhangona fashion Academy.

13. NO credit facilitates will be given. Students won’t receive results and won’t do project presentation if they are still owing the academy.

14. Registration and tuition fee are strictly NON REFUNDABLE

15. Students buy their own domestic sewing machine.

16. Vhangona fashion Academy will provide students with starter kits, but students will have to buy the rest. Students will buy at own cost.

I understand that:
– All intellectual property, designs, patterns, and materials provided by the Academy are confidential and proprietary and not to be shared
– I will not use or disclose any confidential information for personal or commercial benefit, either during or after my studies.

– I will not reproduce, distribute, or share any copyrighted materials, including but not limited to, lecture notes, presentations, and tutorials.

– I will not disclose confidential information to unauthorized individuals or entities. Every design that i see.

– I will protect confidential information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

– I will use confidential information only for the purpose of my studies at Vhangona Fashion Academy.

– I will not conduct classes or workshops using Vhangona Fashion Academy’s materials, curriculum, or intellectual property without prior written consent.

– I will respect the intellectual property rights of the Academy and its instructors.

-I also understand that I am expected to maintain a high standard of behavior, both online and offline, and that any behavior deemed unprofessional, unethical, or detrimental to the Academy’s reputation may result in disciplinary action. I will:

– Treat others with respect and professionalism

– Maintain a positive and respectful attitude

– Follow Academy rules and regulations

– Engage in academic integrity and honesty I acknowledge that:

– All fees paid are non-refundable

– No refunds will be given for any reason, including but not limited to:

– Change of mind

– Personal circumstances

– Failure to attend classes

– All sales are final
I also acknowledge that:
– I will have access to customer garments and designs during my studies

– I will treat these garments and designs as confidential and proprietary

– I will not:

– Use customer garments or designs for personal benefit

– Reproduce, copy, or take pictures of customer garments or designs

– Disclose customer information or designs to third parties

– I will return all customer garments and materials to the Academy upon completion of my studies or upon request
I acknowledge that breach of this declaration may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:

– Revocation of access to Academy resources

– Failure in the course

– Expulsion from the Academy
